What's In Store for 2016?

Well Good Evening my Lovelies!
I hope each and every one of you had a fantastic Christmas filled with too much food, family, friends and laughter!
Tonights blog as you've probably guessed from the title is going to be about all I want to accomplish in 2016; apart from my cosplay goals - that will be in thursdays blog!

Now, first and foremost I don't want to have 'new years resolutions' as such because I always fail and it makes me disappointed, however I do have a bunch of different objectives for 2016 ranging from health changes to being more creative, even posting on this blog.  In saying that I do have two fairly simple resolutions for the new year that I have put in place already and those are drinking more water and being more prepared for Christmas 2016 (which I have already started planning for)!

About a week ago or so I found on facebook a quote which I really fell inlove with and I feel like 2016 is a great time to start living by it and it read:

The Girl Power: You Are Enough Manifesto
I promise to not be an asshole to myself. Hell, I promise to love myself. I will remember that my self-worth is not based on what I look like, how much I weigh, how many followers I have, or any other stupid crap that has nothing to do with who I am.  I will empower other girls and women.  I will be kind. Fiercely kind. I will have a sense of humour.  I will do my best not to gossip, create drama or judge others (or myself). I will remember that just because I've had a bad day doesn't mean I have a bad life. And even on the crappiest days I will remember this:
I AM ENOUGH.
(I can't find where I found this quote it was a photo that I saved)

I am so incredibly inlove with this quote and I really feel like this is something I really need to stand by as lately I have been having some pretty hard days and I really want 2016 to be a good year for me mentally and physically.  I plan on starting my year with the #30daywaisttrainer challenge through blogilates! If any of you ladies want to do this with me head on over to Blogilates on instagram, copy the table and if you want any support comment on here or head on over to my facebook or instagram, I promise I will be there for you!! Or even add me on snapchat and we can share our progress (brittaniede-ann)! I'm also trying to convince my partner to do morning yoga with me as it's just more fun with someone else!  Food is a big thing too that I want to change up a bit.  As my partner is vegetarian I really want to experiment with different dishes and find a range of different health food that we really enjoy! This is definitely something I'm super excited to do!

As for this blog I really want to start being more creative, I really would like to do a monthly favourites post every month starting January, I think that would be really cool! Not just makeup and cosplay favourites though, just a mass range of anything that I have been loving in that month such as books or games or candles! (I am obsessed with candles!)
I also would like to do a bunch of DIY type posts throughout the year, I have a few up my sleeve already but I would also like to stay on the track of makeup and cosplay so those DIY will be maybe twice monthly or something along those lines? Let me know in the comments if thats maybe something you guys like reading in a blog or if I should just stick to makeup and cosplay?

And lastly I would just like to throw this out there that at some stage during next year hopefully I would love to start doing youtube videos, but I'm not sure what sort of style I want to go for yet so again, if you have any suggestions I would love to hear them!  I am however worried about getting negative comments on videos, I realise that is just something you have to put up with when you put yourself on the internet but I really want to be mentally ready for that sort of feedback, but just let me know your thoughts please! I would also love to become more interactive with anyone that reads my blog, so if you do swing by here please leave a comment and I'll be so thankful!

Anyways guys, Thank you all again so much for reading and I just want to let you know that I am so close to 1000 views and I couldn't be happier! I realise that's not actually that many but I am so thankful for each of them!

Until Next Time

Christmas Makeup Tutorial and First Impressions

Good Evening my lovelies, since buying a bunch load of high end makeup I decided I would attempt to create a pretty christmas look and this is what I came up with. What do you think??  While creating this look I thought I would also write down my first impression of my new products and share them with you all? How does that sound?

So firstly, the products that I used for this look are as follows:
Smash Box Photo Finish Foundation Primer
FitMe Matte and Poreless Foundation in Shade 235
Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Shade Vanilla
Starlet Loose Powder Translucent Finish
Savvy Mineral Loose Powder 02 Medium
Mineral Baked Bronzer in Shade Golden Glow
Mac Sheer tone Shimmer Blush in Shade Plum Foolery
Gerard Cosmetics Star Powder in Shade Marilyn
Nude Eyeshadow Colour Palette
The Three Green Shades From My Modelsprefer Palette
BH Cosmetics Nude Rose Palette
Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara
Mac Chromeographic Pencil in Shade NC15
Mac Lipsick in Shade Diva
Urban Decay Setting Spray

Now, I'm not going to go into detail about how I apply my base makeup, you can find the general idea in this post here just substitute in the different product and viola.  However I will give a quick run down of how I created the eye look and so on.  So after finishing my face the general primer, foundation, concealer, bronzer, blush and highlighter I then went in and started my brows.  Now for my brows I use the matte light brown shade in my Nude Eye Shadow palette purely because I'm not confident with anything else yet.  So all I do with this is take a small amount on my small angled brush and lightly blend the colour into my brow filling in any sparse areas and just making my brows look more full, Then I tend to take my spooley brush and brush the hairs back into the position I want and lightly continue to blend the colour into the brows until I'm happy with how they look.  Next is the green on the eyes, honestly one wrong step is this look and it can quickly turn into a nightmare.  I find when using very bold colours blending and gradients are key.  That's why I have opted to use the three different shades of green.

Firstly I took the middle shade of green and placed this lightly into my crease making sure to completely blend this to unsure there were no harsh lines. Once I was happy with the intensity of this colour I then took the yellow/green shade in a flat shadow brush and dabbed this colour onto the lid of my eye and only the lid, I did not want this to get into my crease.  When I was happy with how that looked I then took a little more of the first shade and once again just blended it into the crease.  Next I took the darkest of the three shades on a crease shading brush and placed this colour in the outer corner of my lid kind of creating a V shape, then with my blending brush I blended this colour into my crease darkening up the outer eye.   I then took the first shade I used on a flat shadow brush and gently placed this on my lower lash line along with a small highlighting shade in my inner corner.  Mascara was my next step and for this I used my Lash Sensational Mascara - One of my all time favourites.  I also decided to use my Chromeographic pencil in my water line which was a bit different for me but I wanted to see if it really would enlarge my eye (which it did).

So now for my first impressions, starting with my Smash Box primer.  Well, for a $58 Primer I can see why it's so expensive.  It works wonders and feels amazing!  When applying it all I could think was wow, this feel so nice! It honestly feels so silky, kind of like applying a cream that turns into a powder, or that's how it seems.  It completely hides my pores and smoothes my skin but is so light and it does not affect my skin at all! I'll definitely be using this on all my good occasions!
As for my Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer, it was actually more creamy than I was expecting which I think is a good thing because you really don't need to use a lot to get great coverage and it's such a perfect colour match for highlighting my under eye area.  I'm genuinely inlove with this concealer and I really want to try the Nars Sheer Glow foundation with it.
Next is my Mac Blush in the Shade Plum Foolery.  It is so god damn gorgeous, I don't have much to compare this to as I haven't often used blushes and I've only ever had one until now but the plum colour of this shade works beautifully with my skin tone and gives a real healthy glow.  I love that it's a shimmer blush, I love shimmery things and this makes my life complete. Definitely a winner in my books.
My Gerard Cosmetics highlighter that my partner gave me is just everything, its so super perfect and I can't get over how beautiful the glow is. Top points for Julian!! Honestly this highlighter lasts so long and has such a pretty shine to it and the packaging is gorgeous!
I really didn't think I would like the chromeographic pencil as much as I do, I have always used a black pencil in my water line and to see this difference that the nude pencil made was amazing. It really did make my eyes pop and I think I definitely will be using it more often in the future!
As for my lipstick, I didn't expect to love it as much as I do, but since I first wore it I haven't wanted to take it off. Once again its such a gorgeous shade and suits perfectly with my skin tone and it even smells really nice.  I really want more Mac lipsticks now!
And Last but definitely not least my Urban Decay Setting Spray, I don't want to use it.  It works so so well and there is only 30ml of it.  I don't want it to run out but I don't want to stop using it.  I'm so conflicted.  I wish I had bought two, that would have made life easier.  Truly though it controls my oil problems so well and my makeup honestly does not move whilst I'm wearing this spray.  Definitely a must in any girls collection!

Any way Guys, I think this post is long enough and its definitely past my bed time, so I'm going to love you and leave you and I'll talk to you all again Thursday (Maybe Friday).  If you guys have any questions or requests at all post them in the comments below. I'd love some feedback if any of you are enjoying my blog or have any ideas for some content?

Until Next Time

Makeup Haul, Star Wars and Cocktails (no spoilers)

Hey there my little munchkins, as you all probably don't know I just spent the last two days in Brisbane for the sole purpose of watching Star Wars on Friday morning.  However whilst my partner and I were there we were lucky enough to spend the night with two of our good friends, I also got the chance to make some solid makeup purchases and Thursday night we tested out some delicious cocktails.  Needless to say that is what I'm going to bore you with tonight!

So Firstly, Star Wars..... (Don't Worry, No Spoilers)  But can I just say, definitely one of my favourite movies to date!  We had decided to go see it in gold class with a few friends and it was by far the best decision! Gold Class was so friggin' comfortable, I'm so glad I managed to stay awake as we were watching the movie at 9:30 in the morning after having an exhausting day the day before, however; Star Wars, I mean how could I fall asleep? Right?  Anyway back to the movie, we had basically binge watched the first six before heading down on the Thursday and I was incredibly pumped to watch this one and it did not disappoint.  I mean honestly if you have watched it you will know what I mean when I say holy goodness what a story, I can definitely say that there were parts that I did not see coming at all, but that one specific part in the later part of the movie, ahhh the feels.  I really want to do a full review after its been out for a while? What do you guys think?

Secondly; Cocktails.  On the Thursday night we decided it would be fun to make up some cocktails and play cards against humanity, definitely a brilliant idea, so whilst the guys set up the cards, Cara and I proceeded to make up some chocolate blitzens! They were super simple and super delish!  Literally all you need for this drink is:
Vodka
Creme de Cacao
Melting Chocolate
Chocolate Sprinkles
Baileys Irish Cream
Chocolate Ice-cream

With three simple steps you will have your delicious beverage; first rim the glass with hot melted chocolate and dip in chocolate sprinkles. Second; blend the vodka, creme de cacao, baileys and Ice-cream making sure not to blend the Ice-cream into a liquid - let it maintain some of it's thickness. Lastly pour into the chocolate rimmed glass and add sprinkles on top. Enjoy!

And Lastly, and most exciting for me was my incredible makeup and beauty haul.  I had written out a list of makeup items that I have been wanting to buy from Mac and Mecca Maxima for a while now and finally, I got the chance to do so! So let me show you my goodies!

I literally walked into body shop and just knew I had to buy something.  I mean, I had gone with the full intention of spending money although I wasn't expecting to spend over $120.  However, when I came across these products I just could not say no.  The frosted plum scent smelt so amazingly good and I don't actually own any of these products so spending the money was not hard.
As for prices:
Candle - $29.95
Sugar Scrub - $29.95
Body Butter - $23.95
Shimmer Lotion - $19.95
Shower Gel - 16.95
I absolutely love Body Shop and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for pampering products or even gifts at this time of year.  They are a bit more pricey but are so worth it, and have excellent customer service!

These three products I purchased from Mecca Maxima and am so happy that I did; initially I wanted to buy the Urban Decay Naked Skin concealer but unfortunately they didn't have any of my shade in stock so they recommended the Nars Radiant concealer which I am quite happy to have.  I also bought the Urban Decay setting spray and the Smash Box photo finish pore minimising primer which I'm super excited to use!
As for prices:
Concealer - $40
Primer - $58
Setting Spray - $21
I was pretty shocked about the price for the primer, however it does promise a lot and after using it for the first time today, I am very happy with the quality and wouldn't hesitate to buy it again when I have the money and need it.  Although, I will only be using it when I really need to.  I would definitely recommend these products for anyone who is looking for high end makeup and isn't worried about spending too much money.  I'm sure if you didn't want to spend as much money you could find alternative products that almost do the same job.

I was so excited to buy from Mac and they definitely did not disappoint.  Although I did not necessarily need anything from mac, that didn't stop me from treating myself to a new lipstick, blush and chromeographic pencil which I used today and am in love with!  The blush is just the perfect shade for any occasion I absolutely love it and the lipstick is in the shade Diva which I'm so excited to wear out.
As for prices:
Blush - $41
Lipstick - $36
Pencil - $32
Again I would definitely recommend Mac products for anyone who has the money for high end makeup however it's definitely not necessary for everyday use!

These products I bought when I stopped into priceline, I love priceline so much; it's my goto place when I'm not shopping online!  I really needed new blushes and I have been wanting a real techniques sponge for a while now so when I saw it for sale at the register I did not hesitate to grab it! As for the lipstick I have been watching Zoella's vlogs lately and she has constantly been wearing rimmel 107 so obviously I had to buy it, and its gorgeous!
As for prices:
Sponge - $13.59
Rimmel 107 - $10.36
Blush - $4.99
Baked Blush - $8.99
I would definitely recommend shopping at priceline for anyone who wants good quality products that do almost as good a job as high end makeup for half the price!  Almost all my makeup is bought from priceline and I will continue to shop there even if I can afford high end makeup!

These last three items I did not buy from Brisbane but I feel I had to add them in here, both were got for me as presents for christmas, the lush products from Cara and Scott and the Gerard Cosmetics highlighter from My partner.  I am so in love with the highlighter and have been wanting it now for a good two months and will be using it constantly till the day its empty, it's that pretty.  As for the lush items, well; I love the scent, its so fresh and I honestly really needed a hand cream so thanks so much guys!!

Anyway guys, it's now 1am and I need to sleep but I really hope you guys enjoyed this post, I really enjoyed talking about it and showing you guys what I purchased! If you want to know anything more let me know in the comments.  If you want to talk to me about star wars or makeup, head over to my instagram or facebook

The Body Shop Facial Routine and Review

 Evening Guys!
I have been wanting to post this blog for weeks and am super excited for you guys to read what I have to say about the incredibly products I picked up at The Body Shop!  A few weeks ago a friend of mine and I were talking about facial products and she swore by body shop so I knew I had to try it.  The following week I went to my nearest body shop and met the nicest lady who helped me find the products I needed, and showed me on the back of my hand how and in what order to use the products I had bought.  I don't exactly have bad skin, in fact I actually have fairly nice healthy skin but I have a few problem areas I really wanted to fix up and I honestly just wasn't looking after my skin; so I wanted to start a daily routine so my skin would stay healthier as we only have one chance to get it right, right?

So, these are the products I purchased with the help of the lovely lady, (from left to right) the Seaweed Clarifying Toner, The Aloe Calming Facial Cleanser, The Tea Tree Squeaky-Clean Scrub, The Seaweed Deep Cleansing Facial Wash, (Top) The Seaweed Ionic Clay Mask, The Seaweed Mattifying Lotion and The Tea Tree Blemish Fade Night Lotion. Now as most would know not all of these products are used in my everyday routine however the majority of them are.  In the mornings before I do anything with my face I will use the Cleanser to clean off any dead skin cells or dirt that may have been transferred to my face from my pillow, then I will follow that with the Facial wash using the little pad to really clean out my pores.  After washing my face like this I will then pat my face dry with my towel because at this stage I don't want to rub or hurt my face as it's quite sensitive.  The next step is using my Toner and I place this on a little cotton pad and just dab this over my face; I use this purely because I do have oily skin and unfortunately I work in a kitchen so it also gets really greasy. To finish off my morning routine I then use my Seaweed Moisturiser and before applying makeup I always make sure to use a primer.

At night after I've finished my day I do almost the exact same routine however I start by using my Makeup remover for oily skin to remove my eye makeup then go in with my cleanser and after my moisturiser before I go to bed I will use my Blemish Fade Night Lotion to reduce my blemishes the next day!

The two products above I use approximately once weekly, twice if I'm lucky and once fortnightly if I'm not so lucky.  I use these in conjunction with my nightly routine so after I cleanse my face I will use the Squeaky Clean Scrub to basically exfoliate the skin, then I will go in with the mask and leave that for ten or so minutes to draw out dirt and impurities from the pores while also helping to re-balance the skin and revitilise the complexion.  The only issue - if you could call it that - would be that the facial mask leaves the top of my cheeks really sensitive however as soon as I apply my moisturiser the slight pain reduces to nothing.

Honestly these products, in the few months that I have been using them have made an extreme difference to my skin. As I said I never really cared for my skin, never really made time for it so basically all I would do is take off my makeup, no cleansing, no washing and no moisturising.  So to say my skin loves me now is definitely an understatement!  I can feel now when my skin is dirty which really tells me how dirty my skin must have been because when I wasn't using these products it just felt normal.  So I am so thankful to my friend for suggesting The Body Shop and I could not recommend their products and their service enough.  I definitely do recommend that you go in store so that you can talk to someone who knows what they are talking about and someone who can see for themselves what is best for your skin.  I definitely would never go back and intend to continue using these products until my skin tells me I need something else because right now they are working perfectly for me!

Anyways guys, thank you so much once again for reading.  Sorry again for the late post however there is a reason for it this time and no it's not procrastination.  I won't be posting again until Late Friday possibly Saturday and that is because I am going away for two days to visit some friends and to watch the new Star Wars movie in Gold Class!! Yay! So stay tuned for my next update on more than likely Saturday; and that is why I have posted on a Wednesday (technically for me its very early Thursday morning) so that my posts weren't too far apart, yes smart me I know!

Until Next Time
May the force be with you!

BH Cosmetics Pallets Review/Swatching

Morning Everybody!
I've come to the conclusion that I'm not very good at uploading on the day I'm suppose to.  I blame TV Shows and procrastination, but I do have a beauty for you today!  A few weeks ago I splurged and bought myself three beautiful eyeshadow palettes from BH Cosmetics and today I'm going to swatch them for you and tell you my opinion.  Although I don't like spending money, when it comes to makeup I can wholeheartedly justify my purchases especially if I'm buying from BH Cosmetics purely because they are such good quality for money.  For anyone beginning with makeup I could not recommend this brand highly enough!

The first pallete I'm going to be reviewing is this gorgeous Galaxy Palette, It has the most beautiful array of baked shades from more natural colours to extreme exotic colours such as Venus, a bright orangey bronze! I have had a little bit of a play around with this palette using mostly the purple shades so far to create a gorgeous vibrant purple eye.  I found the colours were surprisingly pigmented for such a cheap palette, they were also extremely easy to blend out leaving no harsh lines at all.  I did find after a few hours they started to crease, nothing a little touch up blending won't stop.  I honestly can't wait to experiment with all the different colours and create many a different bright eye colours! I think the colour I'm most excited to work with would have to be Venus or Comet as they are just such different yet beautifully bright pigments!  As for price, I found this palette incredibly well priced sitting at a mere $11.50USD for 18 beautiful baked colours.  I would definitely recommend this palette to anyone after a more vibrant selection of colours!

The next palette I will be talking about is the beautiful Nude Rose palette; this palette has a gorgeous array of mostly nude colours, with a mixture of shimmers and mattes.  I have used this palette to create a gorgeous natural eye colour for work just using the gold for a bit of a shimmer!  The swatches honestly don't do this palette justice, I don't know if its the colour of my skin but when applied to my eyelids the colours does actually become a lot more noticeable and blends beautifully.  The golds are probably my favourites however the lighter shimmers are beautiful to use as an inner corner highlighter and brow bone highlighter.  As for price for this one it is actually more expensive than the Galaxy palette and I feel that this is because its a new product, although its more expensive it still sits at a mere $14USD so definitely still a very affordable palette!  Once again if you were looking for a beautiful palette filled with a balance of shimmer and matte neutral colours and didn't want to spend an excessive amount of money this one is a great alternative.

Lastly, I will be reviewing this gorgeous Wild Child palette which I have not yet had the chance to use, although I am super excited to try out! This palette is filled with nine baked and beautiful eye shadows, from golds to purple and a beautiful white to highlight.  The shadows give off a good amount of pigment when swatched however I am not sure what they would be like to blend, although considering the other baked shadows I own I'd say they would blend very nicely! I think I'm just obsessed with out there colours on the eye, as much as I love natural eyes I'm a sucker for bright bold eyes and I think this palette really delivers that .  As for price, this palette is a mere $8USD which in my opinion is a great price! I honestly can not wait to try these colours out, I think I'll start off with a purple/pink maybe smokey eye?  I'll see how i go!

Anyways guys, I hope you've enjoyed reading what I had to say, honestly if you are beginner of just want a cheap palette, BH Cosmetics won't fail you and they have a bunch more palettes for just as cheap, just don't forget exchange rate if you are not from the US.  I get hit sometimes without realising and its the worst!!
If you want to see any looks using these palette, let me know in the comments and I'll do my best!

Until Next Time

Christmas Sweets!!

Hey Guys,

I'm super excited for today's blog!  If you are anything like me, you love christmas and everything that goes with it! Especially making the edible goodies! I honestly find that I enjoy making them more than eating them and if I could keep them in my fridge forever, I probably would!

Today I'm going to go over a few different, adorably festive sweet ideas that I found online and luckily got to try out yesterday for my staff christmas party! First I'm going to start off with what I think is the easiest of all of them - the home made bounty bars.  Although mine had a little festive touch with the soft sugar pearls on top (pictured above).  These only had three ingredients and were incredibly easy to make.  In fact, I made these while I was in the process of getting ready for the party.  All you will need is:
1cup Condensed Milk
3cup shredded coconut
400g melted chocolate

Mix the condensed milk in a bowl with the shredded coconut, form into bars and place on a tray in the freezer for 20mins.  Melt chocolate in the microwave and let slightly cool.  using a spoon or fingers (depending on who you are cooking for) dip bars in the chocolate to fully coat, sprinkle a couple of sugar pearls over the top and place in the fridge to set! Honestly the easiest sweets to make for any occasion!  Although mine aren't completely bar shaped I feel like this is due to how small my bowl was that had the chocolate in it, it made it quite difficult to dip in the chocolate.  Super yummy though! I recommend you all try these!

Next lets talk about the gorgeous little christmas trees pictured above.  Would you believe I went to the trouble of dying white chocolate green? Believe it, cause I did.  These were definitely the most tedious of the three sweets I'm addressing today, they took the most time and effort but I feel were also the most fun to make.  You will need: - depending on how many you want to make -
Oreos
Strawberries
100's and 1000's
White Chocolate
Vanilla Icing Sugar
Green food colouring
(optional) White sugar stars

First you will want to cut all the stems off the strawberries, melt the white chocolate and add the green dye to the intensity you so desire.  Layout all your ingredients to make it easier to assemble; using a small spatula place a thin layer of icing over each oreo.  Using toothpicks, dip the tips of the strawberries into the now green chocolate, sprinkle with 100's and 1000's and add the star.  Carefully place the strawberry on the oreo and set on a tray to set.  Although this sounds easy, its pretty damn difficult, so take your time and be patient! We don't want green chocolate up the walls! Although this one was quite the handful, I would definitely do it again for christmas.  They were a hit at the party and very very sweet!

Lastly is the little Gingerbread houses (obviously not made out of gingerbread). These were once again super easy and very quick to make, they also only take a few ingredients so are quite cheap aswell!  All you will need is:
Choc Minis
Vanilla Icing
Nice Biscuits
Soft Sugar Pearls

These are very basic and take no time at all to assemble, first you'll want to coat the top of one nice biscuit with the vanilla icing, place another biscuit on top of the first.  Place a thin line of icing down each side of the top biscuit and as seen in the picture above, take another two biscuits and slant them to a point adding icing to the top of these to keep them in place.  Honestly that sounds super complicated but its actually really simple!  Then all you will have to do is decorate with the choc minis and sugar pearls, I used a tiny amount of icing on the biscuits to attach my choc minis.  I think these would be a big hit at any christmas party, they definitely were at mine, not one was left on the plate! So considering how simple they were I would definitely make them again!

Also guys, I took a couple of pictures of the makeup I was wearing as I felt it was so festive, super christmassy and wanted to show you all! If you want to see how I achieved this look, let me know in the comments!  Thank you all for reading and I hope you all enjoyed this post!  If you try out any of these sweets for christmas, I'd love to see pictures so either tag me on Instagram or Facebook or post them in the comments!

Until Next Time

SUPANOVA PT2

Oh hey there my lovelies!
Once again I'm sorry my post is late but I'm sure it's not an issue yet! Last night we had some wonderful friends visit (Cara and Scott) and we decided to have them stay the night and so no blog got posted, but here I am today, well more tonight to enlighten you all on the wonderful happenings of supanova! Also, Cara writes a blog too! Go check it out!

First and foremost, I survived!!! It was close but I didn't die! The heat didn't melt me and the people in close proximity didn't make me want to crawl into a ball..
Lots happened in those three days so where do I start?  Friday was hot and I mean ridiculous QLD summer heat hot and I had decided to wear a bodysuit, way to go Brittanie! It was worth it though, I got asked for a few photos and everyone was so nice.  Luckily it was fairly dead Friday afternoon so their wasn't a ridiculous amount of people! I'm not going to go into detail about how gross it was wearing a bodysuit in that sort of heat, I'll just let your imagination wonder! However by the time I got back to the resort I can tell you I was super glad we had left the air con on and a cold shower was a must!

Saturday was yet another brilliant day, although I had organised a few shoots with some wonderful cosplayers, they never eventuated; this was disappointing but I managed to get some nice pictures anyhow.  It took a while for me to be able to walk up to someone and ask for a photo, it's not as easy as it looks when you are awkward and shy! Feel free to head on over to my Facebook Page check them out, like and share if you'd like but remember to credit me! Saturday was a full on day for us, and super exciting because we were lucky enough to meet Michael Rosenbaum who plays Lex Luthor in the Smallville series which is one of my favourites! He was such a nice guy, super funny too! After finishing our awfully exhausting day 2 at Brisnova, we had organised to go out to dinner and see the last Hunger Games movie with Cara and Scott which was so much fun even though I was dead tired! It was so nice to just walk around South Brisbane with a few friends and chat! Probably would have been the highlight of my trip!
Dinner was delicious and the movie was good, not as action packed as I was expecting but definitely a good movie!  But my favourite part of the night would have definitely been walking from the restaurant to the cinema through the parklands! So gorgeous! So thank you Cara and Scott for such an incredible night!

Although I was super tired on Sunday, it was probably my favourite day of Brisnova, purely for the fact that we met Matt Nable, had a photograph with him and a photograph with Michael Rosenbaum! Also it was a bit easier at this stage to ask people for photos so I got a lot more photos on Sunday, not as many as I would have liked though!  Unfortunately half way through the day my camera died, I hadn't even thought to charge it the night before, luckily for me we had driven to the event on Sunday so we raced down to the car got my charger and found a power point to charge it at allowing me to take a few more photos before heading home.  By the time 2pm rolled round we were definitely ready to head home, after having such an incredibly weekend it was super sad to leave Brisbane but I do love home!

Anyway guys, I guess I'll leave it there! Hope you somewhat enjoyed it!

Until Next Time
